Gary Hostetler and Jim Kowalik started their law partnership in 1982 by bringing together their knowledge and experience in business and commercial law, bankruptcy, debtor/creditor rights and commercial litigation.
Those early years saw some fierce hallway games of golf alongside a dedicated focus to building a strong practice. Over the years they continued to add lawyers with key skills to strengthen and build their practice. They expanded their practice from a debtor or borrower focus to add a collections and financial institutions practice in 2004. In 2007, Hostetler & Kowalik moved to their current office – a space twice the size of the office that witnessed those original hallway competitions and have since added both experienced attorneys and new law school graduates to meet the demands of their expanding practice.
